Development and Music Industry Module
he “Music Industry Module” of the College of Humanities and Education at Chung Yuan Christian University is the first curriculum in Taiwan that emphasizes practical operation, refined creation and design as the ultimate goal, and cultivates talents needed by the industry. The program emphasizes industry-academia cooperation and aligns with entrepreneurship and employment. This module is divided into two professional groups: “Digital Music Production Group” and “Instrument Engineering Group”, which cultivate two types of professionals.
Digital Music Production Group
The main focus of the program is to cultivate professional talents in pop music and emphasize practical-oriented courses. The main goal is to train versatile musicians in areas such as composition, arrangement, recording, and post-production.
Instrument Engineering Group
The professional courses cover instrumental performance training, basic to advanced instrument maintenance techniques, metal parts handcrafting, metalworking lathe operation, as well as theoretical courses on various music art styles and appreciation research. The program aims to cultivate learners’ multi-perspective expertise in instruments and improve their adaptability and competitiveness in facing the changes of the music industry after the epidemic.
